#DL Summit Product Discovery Masterclass

Oktober 2023Participants of this hands-on and interactive workshop learn about advanced techniques of successful Product Discovery at the intersection of business capabilities, market potential and customer demand. Based on several real-life examples and helpful exercises, the participants get practical knowledge on running a successful product discovery, applying advanced discovery techniques in practice, and leading and structuring the innovation process. In a one-day-sprint, we go from a very first and fuzzy idea to pitching a fully-fledged new business approach.

This workshop is part of our Pre-Conference Workshop Day for Digitale Leute Summit 2023.
Product Discovery is a crucial phase in the product development process that focuses on understanding customer needs, identifying problems, and defining potential solutions before building a product.
In this workshop, the hosts Nikkel and Jan will skip theoretical discovery approaches and basic design thinking knowledge. Instead, they lay out advanced product discovery techniques that have proven to work in practice and equip participants with the essential aspects.

Who should attend
This workshop is designed for people who have already had some initial touchpoints or experience with product discovery activities within their organization and are looking to take the next step in becoming a seasoned practitioner. We invite individual contributors as well as managers in Product Management, UX Design, or Engineering to work with us to improve their discovery skill set.
About Jan Milz and Nikkel Blaase: Jan and Nikkel are seasoned experts in product discovery, business creation, and demand-side value creation, with many years of practical experience in early startups and established enterprises. They have conducted numerous product discoveries across various industries and organizations. They strongly believe in firsthand practical experience over theoretical knowledge and an exploratory and customer-centred discovery approach at the intersection of business, market, and technology.
