With 2,100 employees and almost two billion euros in sales, Redcare (previously Shopapotheke) is one of the absolute heavyweights in the German-speaking market for over-the-counter products. Founded on the occasion of the introduction of the electronic prescription 20 years ago – which never came. Now, perhaps, mission fulfilment is closer than ever. With the company since 2019, the Cologne native manages software and products in a company that previously developed more for stakeholders and less for the end customer. Bernhard’s current task is continuously transforming the organisation into a product-oriented one.
